Exam Q1

The sound in the extract is used to create meaning by putting different soundtracks in different parts on the movie depending on what is happening in that particular scene in the movie. For example: In a scene of tension you would use very loud fast music to get the audience on the edge of their seats and also have the volume of the scene increased so people would pay more attention to the present dialogue and background.

Another example of where the soundtrack is used to create meaning by putting soundtracks in different parts of the movie is when they use the footsteps in the Avengers while they were in there room.  This asked us whats out there? does it have any significance to what is going on in the story and will it effect the main characters? this all creates meaning on whats going on in the movie.
